Fotopic Weekly Maintenance Period
Fotopic has a large server farm which, like anything else, requires periodic maintenance and upgrades in order to keep a reliable and speedy service.
To ensure minimal disruption and inconvenience to customers, scheduled maintenance and equipment upgrades are conducted within a set weekly timeframe. The times selected are chosen to cause the least amount of disruption to customer operations while providing the best access to third party support when it is needed, resulting in the least downtime overall.
Scheduled maintenance and upgrades now take place between 4am and 6:30am UK time, every Sunday (this is our quietest time). During this time access to Fotopic may be slow or sporadic as we check things over. Please note that we still only take the system down if it's absolutely necessary, but after periods of maintenance in the past it seemed more sensible to schedule a period where disruption may occur.
Most work is completed in well under an hour but occasionally, more significant work may take longer.
